"As a photographer/graphic designer based in Brisbane, I have over 15 years of experience working in various capacities within the creative industries. Having grown up as a skateboard kid in the 90’s, I developed a passion for bold photography and graphic design styles that were prevalent in skateboard magazines and advertising of the time.
My history within the creative industries began when I started work as a junior screen printer for a T-shirt company in my early 20s. I wanted to create images for screen printing, so I started studying graphic design while in this role. Recognising the value and skill set I had attained, the company promoted me to Graphic Designer where I worked for many years. Early on, while designing T-shirts for screen printing, I realised the importance and impact of clean and simple designs based on solid composition fundamentals.
My background in design continues to inform and shape my approach to photography & videography. This understanding has helped my creative eye navigate the endless creative possibilities that inspire me. I love to add an edge of grit, mood, boldness and vibrance to my images, while still managing to deliver a variety of styles effectively.
